Commissioning requirements for shaftless screw conveyors

The center line of the shaftless screw conveyor should maintain good coaxiality with the screw shaft. The joints between the sections of the spiral tube should be tight, and there should be no misalignment. Gaskets can be added between nodes and between nodes, between the top cover and the trough, and the length error of the trough can also be adjusted. The clearance around the helical axis and the helical tube should be equal. The shaft of the driving device and the screw shaft should maintain good coaxiality, and the height of the driving device can be adjusted with the help of shims during adjustment.

In addition, the shaftless screw conveyor should be placed horizontally, or fixed firmly when placed at an angle, and then start the test to see if the conveyor shakes. The intermediate suspension bearing should reliably and properly support the connecting shaft to avoid radial deformation of the screw shaft. The installation can meet the requirements by adjusting the gasket between the bearing bushes.

After the shaftless screw conveyor is installed, check whether there are sundries in the machine and whether there is enough lubricating oil in each lubricating place. During the no-load test run, check whether the bearings are leaking oil. Measure bearing temperature during use. Bearing temperature rise is not higher than 20 ℃. During the load test run, the temperature rise of the bearing should not be higher than 30°C.
